The County of Flagstaff’s Road Recovery Program is designed to restore and strengthen roadways that have been impacted by severe weather, heavy traffic, and natural wear over time. • Pothole and Surface Repairs – addressing pavement damage quickly to improve driving comfort and reduce vehicle wear.
• Gravel Road Restoration – re-grading and resurfacing gravel routes to improve traction and drainage.
• Erosion and Washout Repairs – stabilizing shoulders, repairing washed-out sections, and reinforcing embankments.
• Seasonal Damage Mitigation – repairing frost heave, soft spots, and other issues caused by freeze–thaw cycles.
• Load-Bearing Capacity Improvements – upgrading roadbeds and base layers for long-term durability.
