The Killam Agriplex facility is a hub of activity, housing several community amenities under one roof. Within its walls, you’ll find the Killam Memorial Arena, which boasts an artificial ice surface operational from early September to mid-March. This versatile space hosts a wide range of activities including minor hockey, Jr. B hockey, hockey training clinics, power skating, public skating, and shinny hockey, as well as school physical education classes.

During the warmer months when the ice is removed, the arena transforms to accommodate diverse events such as the annual indoor rodeo, various 4-H Club Beef Show & Sales, trade fairs, and community charity and garage sales. This multi-purpose venue, along with the adjacent facilities like the Killam Regional Indoor Pool, Flagstaff Family Resource Centre, S&M Fitness Centre, and the Multipurpose Room, ensures there’s always something happening year-round at the Killam Agriplex.

The Gibson Energy Centre, commonly known as the Hardisty Arena, is a centrally located single pad rink open from October through March. It hosts a variety of activities including hockey rentals, Can Skate, figure skating, shinny, public skating, and recreational hockey leagues. Adjacent to the arena is a curling rink with three sheets of ice and an upstairs viewing hall, perfect for watching games or hosting gatherings. In the summer, both facilities are converted into pickleball courts, available Tuesdays and Fridays.
