Diplomat Trout Pond
Location: 16079 TWP RD 411, across from the Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site.
Diplomat Trout Pond & Campground is a quiet, family-friendly destination located 16 km southwest of Forestburg. This peaceful setting offers 15 non-serviced campsites, making it an ideal spot to unplug and enjoy the outdoors.
The pond is stocked annually in May with Rainbow and Tiger Trout, creating a great opportunity for anglers of all ages. With two fishing docks, a fish cleaning station, and calm waters for non-motorized boating, it is a perfect place to introduce kids to fishing or spend a relaxing day by the water.
Campground amenities include a gazebo, fire pits, and a new campground shelter, along with plenty of space to unwind. Just across the highway, visitors can explore the Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site, adding a unique historical element to your stay.

Edgerton Day Campground
Location: 45106 RR163, 1 km south of Daysland
Edgerton Day Campground is a welcoming overnight campground located just 1 km south of Daysland on Range Road 163. Despite its name, this campground is well suited for extended stays, offering 12 powered sites in a peaceful, spacious setting.
Perfect for families and groups, the campground features a new playground, a covered picnic area, and multiple large gathering spaces. Ample overflow camping and parking make it easy to accommodate larger groups or family getaways.
Its close proximity to Daysland means easy access to local amenities, including the nearby golf course, making it an ideal home base for an enjoyable stay in the Flagstaff Region.

Fish Lake Park
Location: 43059 RR 102, North of Hwy 13
Fish Lake Campground is a scenic lakeside retreat located just 2 km west of Hardisty.
Set along the water, this campground is ideal for a relaxing outdoor getaway. Visitors can enjoy fishing, swimming, and non-motorized boating, with a boat launch and dock available for easy lake access. The sandy beach area, lakeside gazebo, and peaceful surroundings make it a perfect spot to unwind.
Designed with families and groups in mind, Fish Lake features a playground, basketball hoop, horseshoe pits, fire pits, and a covered day-use shelter. Two large group sites and a cook shack make it especially well-suited for gatherings, reunions.
Located just minutes from Hardisty, campers have convenient access to local amenities, including a nearby golf course.

Galahad Campground
Galahad Campground is a quiet, well-kept campground located along Guinevere Avenue East in Galahad. This inviting space features six fully serviced sites (water and power) set on lush, green grass, creating a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.
Campers can enjoy recently renovated washroom and shower facilities, along with a playground on site, making it a great option for families.

Galahad Municipal Grounds
Location:312 Merlin Street, Galahad,AB. Former school grounds.
Galahad Municipal Group Campground is a spacious and flexible camping area located west of Merlin Street in Galahad, designed with group gatherings and events in mind.
Centered around a gazebo, this site is ideal for family reunions, community functions, and large group camping. The open layout provides plenty of room for trailers and group setups, making it easy to accommodate a range of needs.
Conveniently located just minutes from the Galahad Community Hall, the campground offers added versatility for hosting memorable events. Washrooms with shower facilities, as well as water and a sewage dump, are available on site to ensure a comfortable stay.

Strome Campground
Location: 5000 52nd Street, Strome,AB
Strome Campground offers a convenient and welcoming camping experience in Strome, with treed, grassy sites that provide both shade and space to relax.
This campground is an excellent choice for those attending or hosting events at the nearby ball diamonds or community hall, making it ideal for tournaments, family reunions, and community gatherings. A school playground and gazebo are also located nearby, adding to its family-friendly appeal.
Easily accessible just off the highway, Strome Campground is perfect for travellers looking to explore the Flagstaff Region.
Amenities include fire pits and fire grills, creating a comfortable setting to unwind after a day of activities.
Camping is available on a first come, first served basis and is free of charge. We ask all visitors to respect the space, clean up after use, and help keep this community campground welcoming for everyone.

Alliance Recreation Grounds
Location: Alliance, AB
What it has to offer: Trailer park amenities, self-registration, accessible washrooms and shower facilities, and a convenient location for exploring the town of Alliance and the surrounding area.

Notes: Fees are $25 per night or $145 per week for power and water hookups. Payment is made at the self-registration box located in the public washroom building.

Lagoona Beach RV Park
Location: 3915 49 Avenue, Killam, AB (just south of the Killam Krossing)
Conveniently located in Killam on the east side of Highway 36, right next to Killam Krossing, this RV park offers 18 well-appointed sites with flexible options, including full-service 30/15 amp power, town water, and sewer hookups to suit your needs.
The park is designed for comfort and convenience, featuring laundry services, a dumping station, modern shower and washroom facility. They also offer firewood and Wi-Fi. Each site comes equipped with its own picnic table and fire pit, perfect for relaxing or gathering with friends and family. Plus, kids can enjoy the on-site playground located within the park.

Visitors can enjoy un-serviced camping on a first come, first serve basis. The playground on site makes this an ideal stop for families. Whether you are casting a line, enjoying a picnic, or staying overnight, the Lougheed Trout Pond offers a simple and scenic prairie escape.
