Diplomat Trout Pond
Location: East side of Hwy 855, across from the Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site. Approximately 16 km from Forestburg.
The Diplomat Trout Pond has been stocked annually with rainbow trout since 1980.
The pond has also been stocked annually with tiger trout since 2018, providing a new diverse fishing opportunity for anglers that fish at this location.
As for other fish species, there have been confirmed findings of only fathead minnows. There have been no reports of Prussian carp or goldfish in Diplomat Pond reported to the Department or to local fisheries biologists.
Notes: Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations allowed. Campers are only permitted to stay a maximum of 10 nights.

Edgerton Day Campground
Location: 1 km south of Daysland on Rge Rd 163.
What it has to offer: A covered picnic area for day stops, playground, multiple large group areas, large amount of overflow camping and parking.
Notes: Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations allowed. Campers are only permitted to stay a maximum of 10 nights.

Fish Lake Park
Location: North of Hwy 13, 2 km west of Hardisty.
What it has to offer: Two large group sites, a day-use area with a covered shelter, a basketball hoop, fishing, a lakeside gazebo, a playground and beach area, swimming, fire pits, horseshoe pits, and a golf course nearby. Only non-motorized boats are allowed within Fish Lake.
Notes: Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations allowed. Campers are only permitted to stay a maximum of 10 nights.

Location: In Galahad on Guinevere Avenue East.

Location: Former school grounds, northwest Galahad, off Merlin Street.

Notes: Reservations required. A $50 booking deposit is required. Cost is $75 per day, plus $10 per camping unit per day.

Strome Campground
Location: Northwest edge of town.
What it has to offer: Treed sites, fire pits, and fire grills, next to ball diamond, school playground, hall, and gazebo.

Alliance Recreation Grounds
Location: Alliance, AB
What it has to offer: Trailer park amenities, self-registration, accessible washrooms and shower facilities, and a convenient location for exploring the town of Alliance and the surrounding area.

Notes: Fees are $25 per night or $145 per week for power and water hookups. Payment is made at the self-registration box located in the public washroom building.

What it has to offer: Shower house, playground, fire pits, treed sites, easy access to the downtown core (2 blocks) and public swimming pool (4 blocks), peaceful surroundings for relaxation or outdoor activities

What it has to offer: 9-hole golf course, driving range, restaurant and lounge, treed surroundings, easy access to local amenities, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for golfers and non-golfers alike.

What it has to offer: Full-service washroom with shower, large playground, two baseball diamonds, basketball court, walking trail through DJW Park and Pioneers of Flagstaff Park, treed and well-spaced sites, and a relaxed small-community atmosphere.
