Tickets are now available for the 2026 Flagstaff Celebrates Success Awards Gala, an evening dedicated to recognizing the people, businesses and organizations making a difference across the Flagstaff Region.

This year’s gala will feature local catering, the presentation of seven awards celebrating achievement across our region, and a keynote presentation from Canadian entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star Manjit Minhas.

Many Canadians know Manjit as one of the stars of CBC’s hit series Dragons’ Den, but her entrepreneurial journey began long before she entered the Den.

While studying engineering at the University of Calgary, Manjit sold her Toyota RAV4 to help launch a business with her brother, Ravinder. That venture grew into Minhas Brewery, Distillery and Winery, an international company with more than 90 brands.

Beyond her success in business, Manjit is recognized for her philanthropy, commitment to social responsibility and advocacy for gender equality. In 2024, she received the United Nations Association in Canada’s Global Citizen Award.
