Being a bylaw of Flagstaff County, in the Province of Alberta, to regulate the proceedings of Council
meetings, committees of Council, and other bodies established by Council and the transacting of business
by Council, for the Municipality.
WHEREAS Pursuant to Section 145 of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000,
Chapter M-26, and amendments thereto, authorizes the establishment and functions of
Council committees and other bodies and procedures to be followed by Council, Council
committees and other bodies established by the Council; and
WHEREAS it is the Council of Flagstaff County’ s desire to establish and follow a process and procedure
of municipal governance that reflects an open, transparent government where decisions are
made after all information has been provided; and this Procedural Bylaw hereby establishes
the following rules and regulations for the order and conduct in which all Council and
committee meetings shall transact its business.
